Our Town is an early-American play written by Thornton Wilder set in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. The goal was to capture the simplicity and emotional depth of the story through a handcrafted approach. The mixed-media composition was created by cutting out the layers of the illustrated town and gluing them to a poster board to build physical depth. Each element echoes the play’s themes of time, community, and memory. The hanging letters hint to the traditionally minimalistic set design that accompanies this play.
